Appearance:

Kievan Rus' has long, platinum blonde hair, blue eyes, wears a brown shirt, a lighter brown undershirt, a brown skirt that stops at just about the front of her thighs, dark red pants, brown shawl with fur lining, and a scarf. One of her more notable features is her larger breast size, representing "large tracts of land." She usually wears brown boots, but this is not shown in the picture.

Personality:

She is older and wiser than her husband, Novgorod. She tends to try and keep his psychotic attitude in check, otherwise he may have just killed himself when faced against the forces of Mongolia. She is very warm-hearted and motherly, and keeps calm and collective in a situation.

Relationships:

Novgorod - Novgorod is Kievan Rus' husband, Their relationship has been left practically unchanged since the two countries met. They balance out perfectly. Novgorod being more aggressive and violent, Kievan Rus' being more calm, cool, and collective, as well as logical.

Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus - There is not much to say besides the fact that these three are the children of Kievan Rus' and Novgorod. She dotes on them constantly, and loves them to death, even so far as to risk her own life to protect her children against the forces of Mongolia.

Trivia:

---Kievan Rus' human name, Katarina Nevskii, comes from a Swedish list of names, as the Rus originally came from Sweden, and a source from Russian history, Nevskii being the surname of a Russian commander, Alexander Nevskii.
---Her birthday was made from the last reigning year of Tsar Vladimir the Great of the Kievan Rus', 1015.
---The scarf she wears should be very familiar. She passed it on to Ukraine, who - in turn - passed it on to Russia.
---Russia gets his big-bonedness from Kievan Rus', and Ukraine got her "large tracts of land" from her. Belarus only got Kievan Rus' hair, whilst she got most of her psychotic personality from her father.
